In the year 2025, the world was forever changed by the outbreak of the TS-5 virus. Originally created by a rogue research group as a bioweapon, it was accidentally released into the population. The virus spread rapidly, transforming its victims into mindless, flesh-eating zombies. The global population was thrown into chaos as cities became warzones, and the few remaining survivors were forced to band together for safety.
A zombie apocalypse has destroyed the world as we know it.
New York is a deserted place ruled by the undead of flesh-eating zombies. Once glorious, New York City has become overrun by the undead. The beautiful landmark of the Statue of Liberty is now under water and overrun by the undead of the city.
Articulate Pathologist, Dr. Jessica Jacks is humanity’s only hope. Jessica has been studying the undead for the last seven years trying to develop an antidote to the deadly TS-5 virus that has turned the world into deadly and blood thirsty zombies. Jessica and a group of survivors finds the courage to start a secret revolutionary organization called The Resistance. As society collapsed, desperate survivors turned to cannibalism, creating a new threat within the infected population: the ‘fast zombies’. These intelligent and cunning zombies were not only able to communicate with one another, but they also possessed an insatiable hunger for human flesh.
The fast zombies quickly learned to hunt in packs, using their intelligence to ambush survivors and overwhelm their defenses. The survivors, now facing this new and even more formidable enemy, knew they had to adapt quickly or face extinction. They formed small militias and set up fortified safe havens throughout what was left of the world.
They barricaded themselves in, hoping to withstand the onslaught of the fast zombies while they searched for a way to end the nightmare once and for all. In one of these safe havens, a group of survivors led by Pathologist, Dr. Jessica Jacks and a former army sergeant named Jason Vaughn made a grisly discovery. They found a cellar filled with the remains of human bodies, some of them butchered and partially eaten. It was clear that the fast zombies had been using this place as a feeding ground. Fearing that they might be next, they vowed to find a way to destroy the fast zombie threat once and for all.
Meanwhile, the fast zombies were becoming increasingly organized and brutal in their attacks. They would lay traps for survivors, using the remains of their victims as bait. They would even wait outside safe havens, using the cries of the survivors inside as a beacon to lure them out into the open. The survivors knew that they had to act fast if they wanted to save what was left of humanity.
Jason and his group began to conduct covert operations against the fast zombie hordes. They would sneak out at night, infiltrate the zombie strongholds, and sabotage their defenses. They destroyed their traps, set their lairs ablaze, and even poisoned their food supplies. It was a dangerous game, but they knew that it was their only chance for survival.
As they continued their guerrilla warfare against the fast zombies, they began to uncover clues about the origin of the virus. They found evidence that the rogue research group was still at large, hiding out in abandoned laboratories scattered across the world. They suspected that these scientists were the ones responsible for creating the fast zombies in the first place.
Jason, Jessica and their group knew that if they could find and stop these scientists, they might be able to develop a cure for the virus that had brought New York and the world to its knees. So, they set out on a quest to track them down, leaving behind the safety of their fortified strongholds and venturing out into the heart of the infected wasteland.
Their first lead took them to an abandoned research facility on the outskirts of a once-bustling city. The facility had been sealed off for years, its doors and windows boarded up to prevent anyone from entering or leaving. The group carefully approached the facility, using their skills and training to avoid detection by the fast zombies that roamed the area. Once they were close enough, they planted explosive charges along the perimeter of the building and detonated them, breaching the entrance.

As they entered the facility, they found themselves in a maze of laboratories and offices. The air was thick with the smell of disinfectant and decaying flesh, and the floor was littered with the remains of experiments gone horribly wrong. They heard distant moaning coming from deeper within the complex, indicating that there were still surviving scientists somewhere within the facility.
Jason, Jessica and their group split up, moving through the facility stealthily, taking out any fast zombies they encountered along the way. They found notes and records that pointed them toward the location of the research group’s leader. As they neared their target, they became increasingly cautious, knowing that the fate of humanity rested on their shoulders. Finally, they found themselves standing outside a heavily guarded laboratory door. Inside, they could hear the hushed tones of a heated argument. Jason signaled for his team to ready themselves, and then he nodded the signal to attack. They burst into the laboratory, guns blazing, taking out the guards with surgical precision. The research group’s leader, a maniacal scientist named Dr. Lorenzo Santigo cowered in fear behind a desk piled high with data and notes.
“You can’t stop us, you foolish boy!” Dr. Santigo shouted; his voice laced with madness. “Our work is the only hope for humanity!”
Jason approached the scientist warily, his weapon trained on Dr. Santigo’s chest. “Then you should have thought of that before you unleashed this hell upon the world,” he said coldly. “Now, you’re going to help us find a way to put an end to it.” The research group’s leader laughed maniacally. “You fool! You don’t understand! This is our salvation!
The fast zombies are the next step in human evolution! They are our children, our progeny! We have created them to survive this new world, to thrive where we can only barely exist!” As Dr. Santigo continued to rant, Jason and Jessica glanced around the laboratory, taking in the rows of cages filled with twisted, mutated creatures. “And what about them?” he asked, gesturing to the monstrous beings. “They’re not part of your master plan, are they?”
“Of course not!” Dr. Santigo snapped. “They are failed experiments, nothing more! But with our guidance, the fast zombies will rise and lead humanity into a new age of glory!”
One of Jason’s team members, a pathologist named Jessica, stepped forward. “You’re insane,” she spat. “Those creatures are not human, no matter how much you try to justify it. They are a plague, a cancer on the world. And we will stop you, no matter the cost.” Dr. Santigo seemed to regain his composure, leaning back in his chair with a sneer. “You have no idea what you’re dealing with,” he warned. “The fast zombies are incredibly resilient and intelligent. Even if you manage to kill me, others will continue my work. There is no stopping what has been set in motion.”
The tension in the room was palpable as Jason considered his next move. He knew that they couldn’t simply leave Dr. Santigo alive to continue his twisted experiments. But killing him might only fuel the fire, inspiring others to pick up where he left off. In the end, he decided there was only one choice. He turned to his team and nodded, signaling for them to ready themselves.
They moved in swiftly, silently, their guns trained on the terrified scientist. Jason took a deep breath, steeling himself for the inevitable. As he pulled the trigger, the sound of the gunshot echoed through the laboratory, followed by the thud of the doctor’s lifeless body hitting the floor.
With their leader dead, the remaining fast zombies in the laboratory seemed to lose their purpose. They stumbled aimlessly, moaning and whimpering, their eyes dull and lifeless. Jason and his team exchanged looks of grim determination. They knew that their work was far from over.
They began methodically searching the laboratory, looking for any remaining notes or data that might help them find a way to stop the fast zombies once and for all. Hours passed as they pored over charts and diagrams, struggling to make sense of the twisted logic that had led Dr. Santigo to his horrific conclusions.
Finally, they stumbled upon a hidden compartment in the back of the laboratory, hidden behind a panel that had been expertly painted to match the surrounding wall. Inside, they found a series of files detailing the locations of other research facilities like this one, spread out across the globe. It seemed that their fight was only beginning. As they prepared to leave the laboratory, Jason turned to Jessica and nodded gratefully. “You were right,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “Those things weren’t human, no matter what he claimed. And we can’t let anyone else make the same mistake he did.” Jessica looked up at him, her eyes filled with determination and sorrow.
“No,” she agreed. “We can’t.” The two of them exchanged one last look before turning to face the rest of their team. “Alright, everyone,” Tom said, his voice steady despite the weight of what they had just done. “We know where we need to go next. It’s time to put a stop to this once and for all.” As they left the laboratory behind them, the sun beat down mercilessly on their backs. The world outside seemed to stretch out endlessly, a desolate wasteland of abandoned cars, crumbling buildings, and the occasional scavenger scrounging for scraps. The air was thick with the stench of decay and the cries of the infected, their haunting moans a constant reminder of the new normal.
They made their way to one of the hidden vehicles they had stashed nearby, a battered but serviceable jeep that would serve as their mode of transportation for the foreseeable future. As they drove away from the laboratory, Jason couldn’t shake the feeling that they were leaving a part of themselves behind. But they had no choice; they couldn’t afford to look back.
The first research facility they found was a ramshackle building in the middle of nowhere, guarded by a small group of armed men. As they approached, tension filled the air, and it was clear that the men were suspicious of their presence. But Jason and his team had come too far, and they couldn’t afford to let anyone else continue Dr. Santigo’ twisted work.
A tense standoff ensued, with both sides exchanging threats and warnings. In the end, it was Jessica who managed to talk their way through, explaining the danger of the fast zombies and their plans to stop them. The men, while still wary, eventually agreed to help them, recognizing the threat that the new strain of zombies posed to their own survival.
As they worked together to clear the facility and destroy all the research inside, Jason couldn’t help but wonder how many more times they would have to go through this. How many more labs, how many more experiments, before they could finally put an end to the nightmare? The answer, he knew, was too many to count. But they had no choice but to keep fighting.
For now, their focus was on this facility. They would rest, regroup, and prepare for whatever challenges lay ahead. Jason glanced over at Jessica, who was sitting beside him, her face etched with exhaustion and determination. He knew that they were in this for the long haul, and that they couldn’t afford to let each other down. The future might be uncertain, but they would face it together, side by side.
